Carla D. Sloan received her MBA from Iowa State University in 2006. Working in the Human Resources departments in a variety of organizations from Health care to Defense Contractors, Carla recognized that there was a missing link in managing people in work settings. As a professional in compensation, Carla knew that monetary compensation was only one piece of the puzzle of motivators for mid level professionals. What truly motivated employees was often overlooked. In neglecting to recognize the employees' needs holistically, companies and individuals lose a great opportunity to set up an environment that supports each side's goals.
Carla helps clients gain clarity on what they truly want for themselves and what changes need to occur in order for those desires to become a reality. Earning certification through the nationally recognized Coaches Training Institute, Carla has completed the professional training required to fulfill the Certified Professional CoActive Coach(CPCC) certification. This certification is recognized by the International Coaching Federation. Carla earned this certification through extensive study, written and oral tests as well as evaluation of her client work by a third party.
